Extracting Relations between Food and Diseases by Users' Experience

What and how we eat substantially influences our health and well-being. Therefore, we aim to analyze the relationship between nutrition and health. The goal of this thesis is to create a centralized place for information regarding nutrition and diseases. This project proposes the design and development of a system based on Linked Data and web technologies together with a recommender system to create and present relations between nutrition and diseases to users. The resulting system will consist out of two parts: firstly, it validates and creates links between diseases and nutrition using a survey approach and secondly, provides recommendations based on personal conditions.
