Girl's Day 2017

The Girl's Day, an Austrian initiative aiming to let girls get to know technical and scientific jobs and carrer opportunities, took place on April, 27th, 2017. At the Department of Computer Science, the participating girls were introduced to medical simulation for surgery training as one representative of computer science research. Also, the girls were able to chat with current students to get some ideas and impressions about studying computer science. Lastly, Eva offered a first programming tutorial, where the girls implemented a car game using Greenfoot.
